Get The Look: Spring Break Style

Like most college girls, one of the highlights of the year is Spring Break. Whether you are heading to Mexico or the Dominican, staying in style is a key part of your vacation. If you are not sure about what to pack Paige Nicola has some easy and affordable picks to make your trip ever so stylish.

1. Travel Fashion
Even though your tropical destination will be warm and sunny, your starting destination and flight will most likely be chilly. I always say that you should wear a wrap sweater on a flight instead of those grimy airplane blankets. Also slip-on converse that you can easily take off throughout security check. Make sure you wear a tank top and bring a big bag on board so you can stuff your sweater and scarf away once you arrive at your sunny desination.

Converse Unisex Slip On Sneakers

2. At The Beach

Keep it light and fresh with a sunny bikini and mint sheer tunic for your days at the beach. Always wear Haviana's or other rubber flip flops because your will ruin your nice sandals with pool water and sand if you don't. Bring a book because I promise you after five days of heavy day and night drinking your going to want to relax and read under a cabana at the beach...with a bloody mary in your hand.

3. Trip Into Town

Everyone loves the day excursion into the local town; funky flea markets, handmade bags and jewelry, and local restaurants. Keep it simple with a pair of high waisted denim jeans and striped crop top for an easy and comfortable look. I would recommend a cross-body bag so you can keep your belongings in front of you because pick-pocketing is very prominent in tourist destinations.

4. Dinner With The Girls
Dressing up and going to dinner with the girls is one of the many perks of an all inclusive resort. While at school you are stuck to your on-campus dining locations or an array of "fine-dining" restaurants (i.e Chili's) in your university area, your all inclusive resort offers high-end, all inclusive restaurants that will make a for a great pre-night out with your friends. Spice it up with a flirty maxi-dress and gold accessories to make your night extra fabulous.

5. Clubs on clubs on clubs
Lets be honest, the best thing about going on vacation are the endless nights of clubbing. If you are like me, I spill everything. Whether it be mustard, soy sauce, olive oil or a full vodka cranberry, it winds up on my dry-clean only shirt. Solution: a chic, black mini dress. Yes, a black dress on vacation is boring, but what I like to do it is spice it up with bold statement pieces like those amazing tribal print Steve Madden wedges. They are funky and you probably won't be able to get away with wearing them anywhere else. I know you are thinking that you are crazy to bring your phone out. Trust me, do it, or bring out a list of contacts and the name/address of your hotel. The last thing you want is to be stranded without a phone or numbers in the middle of Mexico with no way of getting in touch with anyone.  If you really don't want to bring your phone, keep a small sheet of numbers and stuff it into your bra
