Looking island fresh on the December cover of Architectural Digest, Donna Karan takes time to discuss the inspiration for her Urban Zen Collection; her Turks and Caicos home. The Balinese heath-resort inspired vacation home was a gift from her late husband Stephan Weiss and is the the basis for her organic home furnishing line, Urban Zen. Her Urban Zen Foundation was founded in honor of her husband's memory and serves to promote Eastern healing with Western medicine. Locations can be found in New York City, Sag Harbor, and Ketchum, Idaho and features everything from furniture, to clothing, to photography, with a percentage of proceeds going towards charity.
