The Costco Warehouse Shopping Club on East 116th Street in New York City is the first
Costco in history to sell discount designer bags. Featured bags included the
Chanel Classic Flap handbag for $1,999 and
Louis Vuitton Speedy bag for $589, a
Burberry Mini Satchel for $1019.99, a
Tod's medium shopper hand bag for $549.99 and a
Ferragamo "Marissa" hangbag for $629.99. The sales man told reporters they sold out of the
Louis Vuitton's quickly but had "a lot" of Burberry and Coach bags left. Reps from L
